Responsability

 Due unto others, Carma, What goes around comes around, all of these allude to the same concept.

Taking responsibility for your actions ! Edgar Casey spoke of this and stated that what we project into the world, we get back, sometimes 10 fold. So if you put out good vibes or love and understanding, you get that back and sometimes in a bigger amount. At the same time if you put out anger, hatred, disrespect and general criminal behavior, that's what you will get back, and that just makes your life worse.

We as parents have dropped the ball in the last 50 years or so. We have stopped teaching our children, at an early age, to be responsible  for what we do and not try to blame someone else if we get caught doing something wrong. Now we have several generations that blame everything and everybody else for the state we are in, causing a great dilemma which we treat with alcohol and drugs because we are not happy with our place in life. We have lost control and don't know how to get it back.

I see an awful lot of anger in society today and I fear it won't get better until people start taking responsibility for there own actions and start trying to live in a manor that excepts differences and stop trying to tear down America to rebuild it with something that has never worked, in all the times it has been tried. This country is diverse in many ways and we have freedoms that no other country on earth has and we need to come together and rejoice in that, not destroy it.

I learned very young about taking responsibility and started applying one thought to any situation that I was confronting and that was; What is the worst that could happen if I do this, and can I live with that outcome. If I didn't like the outcome, even knowing that the worst may not happen, I would not do what I'd planned. This one concept has saved me a lot of grief in my life and I recommend it to everybody.

Christians have another way to help them and that is "WWJD" or when confronted with a dilemma, ask yourself, "What Would JESUS Do." The answer is almost impossible to apply in every case because we are human, but it would sure help if more tried  hard to accomplish it.  Dutch

     Did you see the video of the 2 officers shot in California ?

      The shooter looked like a kid or midget, are they recruiting kids to kill cops now ?

I wouldn't blame the cops in these liberal cities to have a severe case of "Blue Flu" and not report to work for about a week and if that wasn't enough to bring the mayors back to reality, start looking for other employment and let BLM and Antifa run the cities until every decent citizen leaves the state.

  If we don't get a handle on this real soon the only thing left is for the Government to declare "Martial Law" and take back those cities and charge the mayors and governors with federal crimes then replace them with people who can supply the citizens with what they deserve from their local government.

Free speech and freedom to assemble is a right we all have, but Robbery, looting, and destruction isn't part of any rights offered by the constitution, and if those people don't like America no one is stopping them from leaving.

Go try that nonsense in China, Russia, or anywhere in the Middle East, and see how long you last.  It's only because thousands of solders have died or been injured in war, that we have the ability to regress our government peaceably and these thugs should be arrested, charged with TREASON, and removed from society. Maybe send them to fight instead of our loved ones.

Is there a better way ?

 O K, All of this defund police crap that BLM and the like are promoting, got me thinking.            What if their was a better way ?

True, there are some interactions that call for less than deadly force, even though the suspect has or is involved in a felony crime and is resisting arrest, which is a felony in itself, what is an officer to do ?

Right now the directives don't give him much leeway, but suppose we could change that. Just suppose for a second that we give the officer a choice of accessories to help in effecting this arrest. What would that look like ?   They already carry a "Taser" in most departments and some carry "Mace" or pepper spray, but do they practice when to use these items rather than the gun ?

First off, when he arrives on the scene or makes the stop, his first order is secure and control the scene. Making sure that the suspect can't hurt himself, others nearby, or the officer, how does he do that ? Then he has to actually subdue the suspect without allowing said suspect to gain control of him, his gun or any other type weapon and leave the scene on foot or vehicle.

 Most big city departments run 2 officers to a unit and even at that some suspects can be exceptionally hard to subdue, as we saw in Atlanta. In my mind I think that if one of the officers would have been able to use a stun gun, such as the "SHORTY", available here, at the onset, when it was evident the suspect was resistant, may have stopped the escalation then instead of having to shoot him if he is running away.

 I also think that there is room for the use of "Mace" in certain instances, where the spray or gel can be controlled.  I think that this could be implemented in a way to make a division that would handle less violent calls with a team of officers that one officer would be thinking using only non lethal means to subdue anyone needing arrest, while the other officer could be there with more stringent means if needed.

In my opinion the Gel is better as it stays concentrated and sticks to the assailants face and hands to give him a very miserable experience for about 45 minutes, more than enough time to get away, or the police to arrive. 10 to 20 shots at 15 ft or better will keep you safe. buy on the  right !
